Meghan brings over 3 decades of experience in theater, film and television as a professional actor, director and coach and 20 years on the stage as a musician to her workshops and individual coaching.
After earning her Master’s Degree in Acting at the Asolo Conservatory of Actor Training, Meghan went on to perform off-Broadway, and in theaters across the US and Europe. She is a founding member of The Actor’s Shakespeare Company in NYC, and a member of SAGAFTRA (screen, television and radio artists guild), AEA (theatre actors guild), and The Dramatists Guild.
Meghan has originated roles in several world premieres including Pulitzer Prize winner Horton Foote’s (To Kill a Mockingbird, Trip to Bountiful), Talking Pictures. She’s worked with award-winning playwright Tina Howe (Painting Churches, Coastal Disturbances) as an actor for her playwriting master class at Hunter College in NYC, and credits Howe with inspiring her to write her first one woman play, On the Way to the Waterfall.
As a voice-over and on-camera artist, Meghan has been featured in national ad campaigns for companies ranging from Campbell’s Soup to ATT&T. She has also leant her voice to several popular films as a looping artist as well as dubbing Japanime.
Meghan’s musical career could be called an accidental triumph. She began writing music when her fiancé unexpectedly died. She picked up his guitar, figured out how to play it, and wrote her debut, New Shoes, earning her Billboard Magazine’s esteemed Critic’s Choice for Best Newcomer. “I didn’t want to lose the music that Matthew had brought into my life, so I wrote my grief into song, and sang my way out of the abyss.”
Meghan continues to write and perform award-winning music. Most recently the title track of her latest album, SING LOUDER, debuted on the US/International Folk DJ Chart at #2, with the entire album coming in at #6. Meghan is currently composing music for a Broadway-bound musical, “The Accidental Caterer” in collaboration with a team of artists from NYC, as well as songs for licensing to film and television.
Known for her raw honesty and ability to connect with her audience, Meghan brings listeners to their feet and at times to tears with high-energy tunes, masterful storytelling, and deeply personal lyrics that resonate universally. Her message of unity and the power of raising our voices together infuses every show, and Meghan’s “Sing Louder” has become an anthem for the music-loving community. “I keep making music to help others connect with their own stories and find joy in their lives.”
